I found something that shouldn't be here. There's no way in hell they should be here, but I found them.

Is anyone else finding things like that? Something personal that you didn't have a week ago? Because one of my Pokemon came out of her ball wearing- and I don't understand.

Normally I would suggest a day that has special significance to either of us to make it easier to remember, though I sometimes have trouble translating my world's calendar to this one.

When is your birthday?

[Steve realizes, not for the first time, how strange it will be to celebrate his birthday without the whole country celebrating for their independence.]

July 4th, so a few weeks from now.

[Unfortunately Hope's one of those who doesn't know the cultural significance of that particular day, but he does know how important birthdays are (of other people that is. his own? not so much).]

Mine is in February. Yours is much closer, and a shorter wait.

[It's okay, Steve doesn't expect a lot of people that aren't from earth and American to know or care]

Then July 4th it is. Where would you like to meet?

It's you birthday. I think it's appropriate to follow anything you have planned for the day.

At the moment, meeting up with you is the only plans I have.

Is Olivine too far out of the way for you?

[Considering he's going to Kanto? Any place in Johto is out-of-the-way. But at least he has three-soon-to-be-four fliers and a lot of time on his hands.]
