[the view, which seems to be of patch of grass, is jostling around, tapping as well as a muffled curse] ...probably Stark technology. [the camera jostles everywhere as the man turns it around in his hands] Wait, Stark's name isn't on it, can't be his. What Stark would miss the chance to plaster his name everywhere.

[the camera moves around some more, mostly catching glimpses of the ground and a building, the man huffs] Do you know how this works?

[a pokemon makes a negative sounding "ri" before the camera moves again, catching a glimpse of sky but then is obscured by a thumb] Yeah, me neither.

Seems to be on. [moves his thumb, a man with short, tidy, blond hair and curious blue eyes comes into view, his blue top fits perfectly to his muscles, but is otherwise unmarked] Is that the len- This is one of those video phone gadgets.

Okay, so best guess is someone can or will see this, so does anyone know what or where this place is? What century is it? Because it seems more like I slept into a few centuries this time, I mean I have my little blue companion with me, so it's not all bad, but I just want to know where I woke up this time. Because this isn't Kansas.

I've been studying. It's a new world, Captain Spanx. Kinda want to know everything about it before I wander out in the wilderness. Also, I'm experiencing JARVIS withdrawl, so I had to adjust to not having a good computer system with me.

Studying only gets you so far, even a city slicker like you knows you have to go out and experience it to actually know everything. But the JARVIS thing, I'll give you that.

Better to go into a situation knowing something instead of nothing. Not all of us can just walk into a situation with just a quick glance at a map.

[fights an embarrassed smile, because really, who remember the map thing? he does, but that was only a couple years ago for him, it had to have been 30 years at least before Howard could have told Tony, which ouch he made himself feel sad, but he's hiding that too, though better than the embarrassment]

I know full well the merits of going into a situation with knowledge before hand. You were... [hates to say it] smart to do what you did, especially without your Jarvis or suit.

Hey, I like my name. It's a fantastic brand name. I mean sure, just the A works better for the whole turning the building into a base of operation for the Avengers. But it's still, Stark Tower.

[He raises a droll eyebrow.]

I've been a genius since birth. So I learned that knowing what you're getting into is something you need to do. Just because I do what I want anyway doesn't mean I don't know what's going on.

It's probably just me, but I don't like any of the buildings with huge company names on them, nothing personally against you or your name, it just fits the category.

[decides not to mention that he still thinks it's kind of ugly. Just another building that ruins the whole art nouveau feeling New York had going]

Genius doesn't mean smart, Stark, but I'm glad you seem to fall under both. I wasn't trying to say you didn't know what you were doing. [gives him a cocked smile and a raised eyebrow to show his amusement] Besides, makes my life easier.

What does futurist even mean? You don't strike me as part of an early 20th century Italian artistic movement.

You know, I don't think I've ever actually picked up a paintbrush, so yeah wrong kind of futurist.

As a futurist, I work on predicting trends technology, society, and even sometimes politics. But unlike others, I hav- Had the money and connections to be able to reshape the world to help make it a better place. It's how I turned Dad's million-dollar national company, into a billion-dollar multinational. With more divisions that even he could have thought possible.

I think I have some of those paintings, though.

Uh, yeah. My entire modern art collection. But I was dying. [He waves his hand dismissively.] I was working on starting a new one, until.. You know, here happened.

You know, I have no idea on that one. Too many theories I haven't read on different universes to really be sure.

Well, you should share it with the public. Maybe museums or galleries would rent the art from you to show it. It's out of storage, people get to see it, and [sighs] you make a profit... maybe.

Believe it or not, half of the money I make that doesn't go back into the company, goes to the Maria Stark Foundation. So my profits help the disadvantaged.

But hey, when I get back, I'll look into it, it could expand the scholarship net.

It's a good use of the art, keeps it from being a storageroom collection and it helps people to learn on many levels.
