004 [Video/Action for Route 39]

starspangledavenger[Steve is sitting in the shade of a tree wearing a normal outfit (not his uniform), he's holding an Eevee in his arms, who is softly crying, and has a Lucario sitting next to him looking rather perplexed at the Eevee. Steve looks like he's a little unsure about this]
Grace evolved earlier today, I was a bit concerned about how long it was taking, but she does things at her own pace. [the Lucario looks at Steve and nods in agreement] It was really amazing, I didn't think she'd wind up being so big. No more carrying her around, though she's already picked me up and carried me around. [he chuckles as Grace puffs her chest out proudly]
The problem is Amber hasn't stopped crying and shying away from Grace since. I was thinking she was scared of her, but no, after some charades, I figured out she's really upset because she wants to evolve too. [the Eevee heaves something that is best described as a sob, leaning away from Grace, who is trying to comfort her with some pets]
I want her to meet more of her evolutions before she decides what she wants to be. She's met a number of Espeon's, but none of the others yet. Is anyone willing to humor us and let her at least meet more of her evolutions, even if it's just through video?

Though he is rather curious about eevees and would like to know more about them.)

Date: 2013-05-11 08:58 am (UTC)[Amber rears up a little in joy before getting her face as close to the screen as she can and talking animatedly about how she's pretty normal now, some neat moves but nothing like shooting water or making sunshine or attacking with her noggin, but that she has the chance to evolve into Pokemon who can do those things! Her dad is helping her meet more of her evolutions so she can pick and she's met one that makes moonlight and one that made snow and one that was fluffy and one that was leafy and one that had fins and one that was spikey and then she's known a bunch that can talk to humans in their noggins!]

The awe is pretty clear on his face and made even more apparent by the blatant "that's amazing" that goes with it. He admits that most of his abilities revolve around electricity, but probably nothing that'll let him talk to humans in their noggins.
He can't help but ask if she's particularly interested in any of those options.)

Date: 2013-06-14 06:51 pm (UTC)(Tempo looks pretty proud of himself at the mention of him becoming big and strong, but it's gonna be a good while until he reaches that point and he knows it.
Still, Noggin talking does fascinate him and he has to admit how neat it sounds, but now is wondering of maybe she can use electricity, too. Then they can be electricity friends!)

Date: 2013-06-21 01:36 pm (UTC)(Tempo can't help but laugh a little. Having so many choices must be really scary, but really great at the same time. She has more options than most Pokemon and that in itself is really impressive.
But if all of them are options she'd like to do, then that means there's no wrong decision, right? That's what the Shinx thinks, at least.)

But then there's a noise off screen that Amber looks interested in. She looks back at Tempo and tells him it was nice to meet him and she hoped to talk to him again but there's a thing. And with a quick bye, she prances away.]
Oh, there goes the girl of the hour. She likes caring for the Litwick egg I have.

...Though if she needs a little help, I wouldn't want to keep you from that. After all, even eggs need attention.
