004 [Video/Action for Route 39]

[Steve is sitting in the shade of a tree wearing a normal outfit (not his uniform), he's holding an Eevee in his arms, who is softly crying, and has a Lucario sitting next to him looking rather perplexed at the Eevee. Steve looks like he's a little unsure about this]

Grace evolved earlier today, I was a bit concerned about how long it was taking, but she does things at her own pace. [the Lucario looks at Steve and nods in agreement] It was really amazing, I didn't think she'd wind up being so big. No more carrying her around, though she's already picked me up and carried me around. [he chuckles as Grace puffs her chest out proudly]

The problem is Amber hasn't stopped crying and shying away from Grace since. I was thinking she was scared of her, but no, after some charades, I figured out she's really upset because she wants to evolve too. [the Eevee heaves something that is best described as a sob, leaning away from Grace, who is trying to comfort her with some pets]

I want her to meet more of her evolutions before she decides what she wants to be. She's met a number of Espeon's, but none of the others yet. Is anyone willing to humor us and let her at least meet more of her evolutions, even if it's just through video?

[John's laughing a little when he turns on the feed, his Lampent peering almost eagerly over his shoulder.]

I see Rose got a hold of you already, making anything I had to say on the subject even more useless than it already was since I don't have my Umbreon with me right now and there are no PCs in Mount Moon. So Chandel and I will just offer you and Grace our congratulations instead.

[At that, Chandel chimes in loudly, flailing her arms a little. SHe is so happy for you, Grace. You are basically an adult and also big and strong and go you.]

[He pulls Amber to the side so Grace can get back into the picture, getting super excited to see her friend]

[Grace makes a pleased sound, looking a bit unsure of it after, not used to how her voice has changed yet, but waves at Chandel all the same]

[Chandel flips herself over John's shoulder so that she can get right up in front of the camera, flailing and chittering away about how pretty Grace is and how she is surely so much stronger now and wowie just look at you! Evolution is always a wonderful thing, not that staying the same is bad either but just...change.]

[John laughs, trying to get a word and look in edgewise behind the Lampent.]

Hehe, yeah the Eevee line is her specialty. If she can't answer any questions you have about them, then the question probably can't be answered at all. That or she'd try and find the answer to it right that very second...

[She is determined like that.]

Are either you or Amber leaning towards any particular evolution yet? For her, obviously, I mean. Not...for you yourself.

[Grace pushes her way in front of Steve to have the camera all to herself (she usually hates this, but she likes her friend), she looks bashful at all of Chandel's flattery, agreeing that not changing is just fine but she's so happy that she finally decided to evolve. Also, that her and her dad are going to train so she can get used to her new form and that Chandel is still as pretty as always and that she is so happy to see her and missed her!

Steve chuckles at John's comment]

Well, I've reached my final evolution, but Amber is favoring Espeon, though that was the only evolution she's met, thus this. I could use an Espeon or Leafeon for my team.

[Training you say? Training is always fun and she has been doing a lot of that too! Grace, let Chandel tell you about all the Zubats in Mt. Moon and how downright ridiculous it is in here. It is her first time in a cave and she was not sure what she was expecting but it wasn't all these bats. But she also missed her friend too, man it would be great if they could train together or something! That would be awesome.]

Espeon is a great choice! Especially if you don't have any psychic types yet. Having a Pokemon that you can actually communicate with comes in handy. Plus Espeon is cute, that's always a plus.

[Grace can understand about the Zubats! They were everywhere in Union Cave, it was crazy and annoying after a while, because she had more fun attacking the rock ones than those bats. And training together would be so very awesome, they should totally do it sometime!]

The team is lacking a psychic type, I'm a little hopeful she goes that way. I'll work with what she picks, but it would be nice if it fits an open spot.
